چکیده
Kidney transplant recipients (KTR) have a higher risk of developing malignancies compared to the general population, due immunosuppressive regimens which can promote oncogenesis process. The incidence de novo non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC) in KTR is greater than population. Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) represents one most frequent KTR. Sonidegib Hedgehog signaling pathway inhibitor approved for treatment locally advanced basal-cell (LABCC) that following surgery or radiation therapy, given those candidates who are not eligible therapy. This paper reports case kidney patient, developed severe acute injury (AKI) rhabdomyolysis (RML) induced by sonidegib therapy required renal replacement (RRT).

BACKGROUND Rhabdomyolysis secondary to quinolones is not frequent. There are scarce reports in the literature associating rhabdomyolysis to levofloxacin. We describe a case of levofloxacin-induced rhabdomyolysis. CASE PRESENTATION A 52-year-old African-American man presented with muscle tightness after taking three doses of levofloxacin. He had elevated creatine kinase without acute kidney in...
متن کاملClarithromycin-induced rhabdomyolysis: a case report
Rhabdomyolysis is a clinical and laboratory syndrome that is caused by various etiologies, involving the skeletal muscle. Clarithromycin, like other macrolides, is an inhibitor of CYP450 3A4, the major enzyme responsible for the metabolism of several drugs, in particular some statins. Rhabdomyolysis related to macrolide-statin interaction has previously been described. To date, rhabdomyolysis i...
